Monthly or annual?
Both. Annual pricing saves you two months compared to monthly — the equivalent of a 17% discount. You can start on either plan and switch when your renewal comes up. Everyone starts with the same 14-day trial regardless of billing cycle.
How do technicians log in?
Each technician gets their own account and signs into the mobile app directly — no shared logins, no PINs written on a whiteboard. An admin invites them by email.
Can I invite unlimited users under one account?
Yes. Every plan includes unlimited technicians, unlimited machines and unlimited checks. The only thing you pay for is the number of plants.
How do I export my history if I ever leave?
You can export your data at any time your account exists, including after a subscription lapses. Nothing is held hostage over an invoice.
Do you offer SSO?
Not yet. Sign-in today is by individual account. If single sign-on is a requirement for your organization, tell us — hello@keepspec.com.
What if I need more than one plant under Single Plant?
Upgrade to Enterprise whenever you need to. There is no long-term contract locking you into the wrong tier.
What happens if I switch fluid brands mid-year?
Nothing happens to your history — that is the entire point. Keep logging checks against the new fluid on the same machines, in the same record.
Where is the data stored?
The database is hosted in the United States (Ohio), with encrypted backups replicated between two US regions.
What's the SLA / uptime?
We aim to keep KeepSpec available and hold recoverable backups, but we do not publish a guaranteed uptime figure unless we have agreed one with you in writing. The mobile app keeps recording checks with no signal and syncs later, so a service interruption does not stop work on the floor.
Is my data used to train anything, sold, or shared?
No. We do not sell it, share it with other customers, or use it to train anything. We have no fluid to sell you, so we have no reason to look.
