Features

KeepSpec is built for the people who actually track fluid conditions on a manufacturing floor. Everything below is in the product today.

Log readings where the work happens

Technicians open the KeepSpec mobile app on the line, pick the machine, and enter today’s Brix, pH, or condition notes. The app knows what specifications apply to that machine and flags anything out of range immediately.

Specifications tied to machines, not spreadsheets

Admins set up sites, lines, machines, and fluids once. Each fluid has a specification range (or ranges — different machines can have different targets for the same fluid). Ranges live in KeepSpec, not in a filing cabinet.

Alerts you can actually manage

When a reading falls outside spec, KeepSpec creates an alert. Alerts can be muted with a reason and a duration — scoped to a site, line, or machine, and capped at 30 days — so a known issue like a holiday shutdown doesn’t page someone every shift while it’s being addressed.

Two roles for two kinds of work

Admins run the account and set up the operation. They manage billing and the subscription, add sites, lines, machines, fluids, and specification ranges, and invite technicians and other admins.

Technicians do the daily work. They log readings, view alerts, and see what needs attention on their assigned lines. They can’t change specifications, billing, or account settings, so their focus stays on the floor.

Two clear roles, two clear responsibilities — nobody on the floor can accidentally touch billing or account settings.

Off-line? No problem.

The mobile app works offline. Readings sync when the device is back on WiFi or cellular. Manufacturing floors are not always connected — the app doesn’t pretend otherwise.

Data you can trust

Every reading is timestamped, attributed to the technician who entered it, and stored per organization with strict tenant isolation. Your data does not mix with any other customer’s data, ever.
